How We Started
For over 80 years, Khatena has been involved in the backend of the horological industry; specializing in watchmaker tools. We are the main supplier to most countries in the South East Asian region, as well as Japan, China, India, Hong Kong and Sri Lanka.
We are also key players in the local horology industry, serving as suppliers of tools and spare parts to the majority of the key watch distributors in Singapore.
As a family business, now in its third generation, the passion for horology has become almost genetic.
Established in 1930, Khatena Masood and Sons Trading is the major importer and exporter of watchmaker tools, jeweller tools and watch spare parts for the region.
Khatena is the official distributor for recognised swiss watchmaker tools providers such as Bergeon, Horotec, AF*Switzerland (Albert Froidevaux & Fils SA), Witschi and Renata.
With our modern services deeply rooted in tradition and history, Khatena also serves as a watch service centre, providing reliable and efficient watch repair and service.
